- Not only the varied offers of cultural events but also the excellent location in the charming city centre of Skagen makes the culture house unique. The different spaces provide a lot of room for cultural diversity. Equipped with about 200 seats, the stage room offers just the right atmosphere for live music and boisterous dancing but also for exquisite candlelight concerts. Whether blues, jazz, folk, rock, pop or classical music - the variability of events is as various as the tastes.

About Kappelborg

Since the opening in 2011 the cultural life in the old premises of the former elementary school flourishes in all its facets. The visions and the posibilities of Kappelborg has been growing steadily and it is indispensable as Skagenʻs cultural centre. With 160,000 guests a year the house creats a cultural melting pot for different people with just as much different interests and preferences.Kappelborg not only has a concert and theater stage, a special room for art exhibitions, a cinema, a library and a music school, but offers enough space for various club- and adulteducation activities, a skate park and a playground. Inside and outside. The result is a continuous exchange between diverse cultural activities and interests. Kappelborgʻs vision is to create a regional, national and international network for cultural inspiration and cultural exchange.
